Masonry is composed of a family of organizations which include: The Masonic (Blue) Lodge, Order of the Eastern Star, Shriners, Amaranth, Scottish Rite and York Rite. For the Youth we have: Rainbow and Jobes Daughters for girls and DeMolay for boys.
The Lincoln County Shrine Club is the home of the renowned and rowdy Renegade parade team of large men in fez driving small red cars throughout Oregon during the spring and summer parade season. The Shriners have a great time parading to raise money to support the Shrine hospitals throughout the country. Shrine hospitals offer world-class care at no cost to the patient to those under 18 yrs who have orthopedic, burns or spinal cord issues.
Order of the Eastern Star is a masonic organization for both men and women. Our chapter Sunset Fuchsia was started in 1946 in Newport. Our goals are to work in the community with both adults and youth. We raise money for Cancer Research, which all monies stays here in Oregon, is just one of our many projects.
